Romantic Interlude

I missed buying this Romantic Interlude Barbie when it was released, but managed to snap it up at a good price in October 2006 at the Halloween Doll Extravaganza that used to be held annually at the Prahran Town Hall.

Barbie's face is refine and feminine, with rooted eyelashes and bright red lips. Barbie's short brown hair is bobbed at her chin and she wears a black velvet beret embellished with feathers and a prominant diamond jewel. She has a white silky scarf (criss crossed around her torso) and a skirt made out of the same fabric (unfortunately it's not a dress) under her billowing velvet coat which is decorated with rhinstone buttons. A corse white netting adds volume to her outfit and she wears a pair of black boots.
